Pregnancy & Acupuncture

I’m pregnant, can I still get Acupuncture?

We get asked this question asked a lot. Short answer, yes, the long answer, we highly recommend that you do!

Acupuncture can support each stage of pregnancy while also offering support for common ailments such as nausea, back pain, or turning a breech baby. Not only that but as the arrival approaches acupuncture can assist in preparing the body for birth and even give that extra boost to help induce the babies arrival when you are running over time.

All that being said, with over 365 acupuncture points on the body, there are some points we don’t use at all on pregnant women, some that are fine throughout the entire pregnancy and some that can be used at different stages, therefore if you are looking to get some pins while pregnant ensure they are from a licensed acupuncturist.
